LEGO The Hobbit announcement trailer takes us back to blocky Middle Earth

LEGO The Hobbit was announced last month, and now Warner Bros. has released the official announcement trailer. Check it out below.

LEGO The Hobbit encompasses the first two films in the new Middle Earth trilogy, and this trailer does a good job of mimicking the trailers you'll likely have seen for the movies, with some surreal humour thrown in for good measure. Let's be honest, we know what to expect from the LEGO games by now.

It's due out sometime in Spring 2014.
