Pokemon X & Y gets mandatory 1.2 update, Rating Battles reactivated

Pokemon X & Y has received a mandatory 1.2 update that is necessary for online play. Sources suggest that the patch nukes an exploit that let players view their opponent's team before starting a match.
Serebii reports that the update requires 236 blocks on your console and will reactivate Rating Battles after Game Freak took them offline once the breach was discovered.
