Entropy: Battlestar Galactica Online studio launches new space MMO

Entropy is the new space MMO from Battlestar Galactica Online developer Artplant, and it's live today via Steam Early Access.

In a press release sent to VG247 today, Artplant confirmed Entropy's launch, and you can find it on Steam Early Access here, priced £14.99 / $19.99.

Entropy takes place in a persistent, space sandbox that is full of real-time dogfights, trading, mining and colourful cosmic vistas set across over 100 star systems. Artplant will use the early access launch to gauge feedback from players and make tweaks where necessary in the run up to the game's full launch.

Stats will reset once the game releases in full, but you can buy one of Entropy's Founders packs that will guarantee progress retention between builds, offer ships, in-game currency, extra character slots and avatar gear.

It should be noted that the top packs - Explorer and Founder - cost £29.99 and £75.99 respectively.
