Payday 2: Gage Weapon Pack DLC out today, says Overkill

Payday 2 DLC 'Gage Weapon Pack' is due out today on PC, according to Overkill Software. Get the details inside.

The official Payday 2 DLC site explains that Gage is a wheelchair-bound Afghanistan war veteran who turned to arms dealing when America turned its back on him. He'll sell things that the game's main merchant Bain won't touch, so you can expect his wares to deliver quite the kick.

Gage will offer a new variety of firearms, including the Eagle Heavy Rifle, SpecOps Submachine Gun, and a select fire mod which comes free, even if you buy the DLC pack or not. Anyone can use it.

He'll also sell you a 4x inventory booster which - unsuprisingly - means you can carry four times as many weapons. This is also free to all Payday 2 players.

There's also a new mask set, featuring Dolph the Goat, Arnold the Bulldog, Chuck the Eagle and Jean-Claude the Panda. You can also tailor masks with a new range of materials.

A third tear of new content will unlock this Thursday, and we're honestly not sure what's in there, even though I was speaking with the game's designer David Goldfarb on Skype last night.
