Battlefield 4: China Rising raises multiplayer level cap, rewards for top-tier players

Battlefield 4: China Rising has – without any fanfare – raised the multiplayer level cap from 100 to 110, which is a first for the series. Once you hit level 101, something lovely happens.

EA announced the raised level cap quietly in this forum thread, and MP1st adds that once you hit level 101, your rank number will go from white to a garish magenta colour so everyone knows you’re in that top tier.

They even took this screen-grab of what that looks like in the lobbies:
