EGX Rezzed 2014: Leftfield Collection now open for game submissions

PC and indie gaming expo EGX Rezzed 2014 has now opened submissions for the Leftfield Collection, a showcase of indie games sponsored by Sega.

In a press release sent to VG247 today, Rezzed organisers Gamer Network announced that submissions to the Leftfield Collection will close January 31, 2014. Successful applicants can showcase their title in the Sega area for free, giving thousands of gamers access to their titles.

With some 25,000 attendees expected at the show, this could be an ideal launchpad for indie teams or solo coders, with previous exhibitors such including Thomas Was Alone, McPixel and That Dragon, Cancer.

Curator David Hayward added in a statement, “The Leftfield Collection has a history of giving talented indie developers the platform they need to get the word out about their games."

Interested parties can submit their game using this online form.

EGX Rezzed 2014 will take place at the The NEC in Birmingham between March 28-30. Tickets can be bought at the official site, with an early bird 20% discount running until January
