Bayonetta: Bloody Fate anime confirmed for Australia & New Zealand release in 2014

Bayonetta: Bloody Fate is creeping its way towards western shores it seems, following confirmation of its release in Australia and New Zealand. Could a European and American date be far off?

Meanwhile, this Bayonetta petition hopes to bring the original game to Wii U, ahead of the sequel's launch next year.

Now, Polygon reports that distributor Madman Entertainment has confirmed Bloody Fate's launch in Australia and New Zealand in 2014. No solid date has been given, but it's definitely happening.

The anime is being produced by Sega and animation studio Gonzo, under the guidance of original Bayonetta artist Mari Shimazaki and is directed by Afro Samurai's Fuminori Kizaki.

We've got a teaser trailer here.
