Tacos, Bluegrass, and Videogames jam announced, applications now open

Tacos, Bluegrass, and Videogames is the new gaming showcase hosted by Scottish developer Lucky Frame. It promises beer, Mexican food, arcade cabs and space for developers to showcase their titles and meet other creators. It all kicks off in January, and we've got the initial details here.

In a press release sent to VG247 today, Lucky Frame - creators of Victorian mobile brawler Gentlemen! - announced the inaugural event. The studio will host its event on January 11, at the Pilrig Church in Leith, Edinburgh.

Entry is £5, and you'll get tacos, a bottle of Brewdog, bluegrass music and obviously, the chance to play some games. The studio will bring its own titles Rolfpillar and Gentlemen! and has opened the floor for game submissions from other teams.

The deadline for submissions is December 29 and you can get all the information you need here. Studio founder Yann Seznec told us that games of any shape or size, content or focus will be considered.

Let us know if you plan on checking this one out.
