Dota 2 pink War Dog courier purchased via auction for $38,000

A rare, pink War Dog courier drop in Dota 2 has been sold for a whopping $38,000 via an auction on the Dota2Trade subReddit.
The ethereal flame courier is the second rarest one in the game, the other being white, and is used to transport items between a player's base to their team.
The item is such a rarity because it is not part of the 10 colors associated with with courier Valve created after the black couriers were found to be bugged.
