Drakengard 3's aerial dragon battles captured from livestream

Square Enix recently showed off Drakengard 3 in a live Nico Nico stream; the video below includes footage of the aerial battles which are a hallmark of the series.

Siliconera reports protagonist Zero's dragon is called Mikhail. In the video you'll see Mikhail's fire breath attack on land, as well as anti-air versions while airborne. The dragon's physical attacks are also shown - a tackle and a stomp - as well as strafing. In the air, the dragon can perform rolls.

Mikhail and Zero can partner up with a charged attack called Utautai Mode, which is visible at 4:00.

Drakengard 3 is coming to PlayStation 3 in Japan in December and to the west sometime in 2014.
