APB Reloaded's "massive engine upgrade" would allow it to possibly "launch on other platforms in the future"

APB Reloaded will be getting a "massive engine upgrade" meaning once the tech changes are made, the game will be using the same version of Unreal Engine which powers Gears of War 3.

Currently, the game uses the same version of Unreal 3 that powered Unreal Tournament 3.

The current roadmap puts a full upgraded APB engine sometime at the end of Q1 2014, but as with all roadmaps, "that could potentially change," but with upgrading the engine, the team is also open to the possibility of launching the game on platforms other than PC in the future.

Thanks, Massively.
