Machinarium now available for iPhone

Amanita Design’s Machinarium will now feet neatly inside your pocket, as the rather well-liked adventure game is now available on iPhone. It’s been available on iPad for a little while, and the game is now a Universal App, so if you already have it on your tablet, you can download the game to your iPhone at no additional cost.

The new update takes advantage of full Retina Display, Game Center achievements, iCloud saves, and pinch-to-zoom. The down side is that the update will wipe your current save file. Amanita Design is compensating by offering six pre-saved positions from different points in the game, so hopefully one will be close to your own save.

Machinarium Pocket Edition will cost you a meagre $1.99 from the app store.
