D4: Swery to discuss his Xbox One debut at GDC Next in November

Xbox One's Kinect-controlled title D4 will be the focus of a newly-announced speaker session at GDC Next in November, hosted by Hidetaka "SWERY" Suehiro himself.

In a press release, SWERY's talk was added to the 'GDC Next 10' line-up, which highlights innovative, as-yet unreleased titles. The sessions are picked by the GDC organisers to flag up 'one to watch' experiences. From what we've heard of the game so far, it makes a good argument for Xbox One's Kinect as a solid motion control device.

During the talk - dubbed 'D4: Dawn of the Dreaming Director's Drama' - SWERY will discuss the challenges that came with designing a game to work with Kinect, the creation of strong sensory experiences and more. He has vowed to share his insight, "as professionally as possible." We suspect that's because Deadly Premonition is as mad as barrel of starved weasels.

We'll report on his session once GDC Next kicks off. It takes place November 5th-7th at the LA Convention Center.
