PS4: French retailers warn that new orders will not be fulfilled until 2014

PlayStation 4 appears to be in short supply in France, according to a fresh report that suggests retailers are advising customers that all new orders will not be honoured until January 2014.

Jeux Video reports that retailers Micromania and FNAC are advising customers that PS4 is now sold out until next year.

FNAC has stated, "We can no longer guarantee delivery before the month of January 2014," and Micromania simply advised, "all available parts have already been sold".

It follows today's reports that UK retailer SimplyGames is forcing current PS4 pre-order customers to pay for a higher bundle deal or risk losing their day-one delivery. It's causing quite a stir this morning.

Meanwhile, Michael Pachter reckons worldwide PS4 pre-orders have topped 1.5 million so far.
