Rocksmith 2014 team abandoned Kinect features due to tech limitations

Rocksmith 2014 on Xbox 360 had - at one stage - Kinect posturing features that were ultimately dropped due to the limitations of Microsoft's device.

Speaking with IGN, lead designer Paul Cross said that the Kinect sensor had trouble telling the difference between a players head and the neck of their guitar. The idea was that players could strike classic rockstar poses made famous by artists across the years.

The feature was ultimately canned, but Kinect Xbox 360 voice controls remain.
