Play Expo takes place next weekend with playable Assassin's Creed 4, Oculus Rift, more

Play Expo is the place to be next weekend, as attendees will be able to try out Assassin's Creed 4 on PS4, Oculus Rift and more.

Dark Souls 2 along with indie titles such as Prison Architect, Redshirt, Journal and FPS Creator will be playable as well. Nintendo will also have a booth with plenty of titles including The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds and Super Mario 3D Land.

For those looking for some retro fun, there will classic consoles and arcade machines around and a LAN area for you to play games such as Quake, Unreal Tournament and Command & Conquer.

There will also be game tournaments such as the UK heats of the Capcom Cup not to mention the World Cosplay Summit.

Plus there will be panels and workshops aplenty.

Play Expo takes place in in Manchester's EventCity October 12-13.
