Borderlands 2 GotY Edition hits next week, Gearbox wants you to hunt for loot  

Borderlands 2: Game of the Year Edition releases next week on October 8 and to celebrate, Gearbox and 2K have teamed up with Sony to offer players a chance to win some loot - asn there's $100,000 worth of it in the prize pool.

Staring October 11, for four weeks prizes will be handed out by Borderlands characters which provide targets for the week. These targets will drop unique loot 100% of the time, and if you beat the target, you are entered to win a prize. You have to be playing online, obviously.

Four weekly cash will be doled out starting at $5,000 all the way to the grand prize of $50,000.

Other winnables include Vitas, copies of Borderlands 2 Vita, and other items from urtle Beach, NVIDIA, and BradyGames - also sponsors of the Loot Hunt.

For those of you without internet access or the ability to play Borderlands 2, US residents can enter the sweepstakes by mailing a postcard.
