Shantae: Half-Genie Hero hits first stretch goal, adds bonus campaign

Wayforward Technologies will build a whole second campaign into Shantae: Half-Genie Hero thanks to the generosity of backers.

As confirmed by a Kickstarter update, the campaign has pushed past the $500,000 point.

Wayforward can now afford to implement whole new bonus campaign from the perspective of villain Risky Boots.

At time of writing the campaign had three days still to run, and has raised over $525,000. Wayforward has nominated stretch goals up to $1.3 million - animated cut scenes. Donations made via PayPal or other sources after the Kickstarter campaign closes will also be counted towards stretch goals.

Shantae: Half-Genie Hero is headed to PC, PlayStation 3, PS4, Vita, Wii U, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
