Frictional Games releases first teaser for its next title

Frictional Games has released the first teaser for its latest game SOMA, and the video below is live action affair that looks set in the future.

The description for the video is included in a case file called Vivarium, where a machine has "the appearance of a heavily modified monitor fixed to a massive nest of cables and controls."

A machinist by the name of Peter Strasky "found the contraption during a salvage mission," which shut down as it was pulled out from a container and the machine's origin remains a mystery.

"Considering the lack of information and the general unease it has started to cause, the machine will be disassembled," the "case file" states, noting that some distorted schematics where shown and eventually the machine was put under quarantine.

An engineer named Imogen Reed has asked for an exception to study the machine, and special permission has been granted.

Knowing Frictional, this won't end well.

There appears to be seven more reveals set for the game which you can look over an ponder through the official website.
