The Walking Dead game jam will mark the series' 10th anniversary

The Walking Dead game jam is a new two week-long event being held to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the popular zombie series. The jam has just been announced by Skybound Entertainment, the production company that belongs to series creator Robert Kirkman.

Eurogamer reveals that the event will be themed around the phrase 'All Out War,' which is the comic's current anniversary arc.

The winner of the game jam will receive Kirkman's personal endorsement, while ten of the best teams will receive a wealth of undead booty, including signed books, t-shirts, merchandise, a full Unity Pro license and a Steam Greenlight key to continue building each game with an eye on a full Steam release.

So if you have an idea for a Walking Dead game you've been itching to make a reality, head on over to the official site and get involved.
