Killzone: Mercenary receives stability patch, launch trailer

Killzone: Mercenary has just come out, but there's already a pretty hefty patch out there to fix some of the "stability and connectivity" issues users were having during the multiplayer beta. Check out that and the game's slick looking launch trailer after the jump.

They sure can fit a lot of effects onto handhelds these days. Insofar as the stability patch, Mercenary's senior producer Mark Green writes that "he appreciates users frustration" over the 1.1GB patch's size, "but offers every assurance that we couldn't have included its changes any sooner, and that the enhancements—borne of the beta—offer dramatic and worthwhile improvements".

Additionally, he thanked the game's beta community and particularly those who actively provided feedback and said "the day one patch is a direct consequence of that feedback".

Killzone: Mercenary came out today in North America and has been out a week in Europe.
