Etrian Odyssey Untold demo coming to the American eShop on the 16th of September

Atlus have announced that the English demo of Etrian Odyssey Untold will be landing on the 3DS' eShop on September 16. The demo will allow you to try out the game's redesigned story mode as well as delve into the first few levels of a dungeon to try out the game's 3D, which I've heard helps mapping via more intuitive depth perception.

Etrian Odyssey Untold is a "reimagining" and remake of the original Etrian Odyssey, albiet with a more coherent narrative than that original game, in addition to various improvements including the aforementioned 3D effect.

Untold is receiving both a digital and retail release on October the 1st in North America and hasn't yet been picked up for a European release.
