Killzone: Mercenary day one patch is almost 1.2 GB - report

According to The Sixth Axis, Killzone: Mercenary, which arrives in Europe today, has a hefty day-one patch. The update weighs in at 1190MB, and includes “stability fixes and performance optimisations” - but also means a digital copy of the game will require 4.5 GB of memory card space rather than the base 3.3 GB install, which may be worth considering if you're wondering whether to get the retail or download version. We'll have impressions and a review round-up for the Vita shooter later today.

Thanks, CyberMarco.
