Walmart will have launch-day next-gen consoles back in stock

Walmart will begin taking a second round of Xbox One and PlayStation 4 pre-orders from August 24th, the company has announced.

If you want to reserve one you'll need to take yourself down to your local store and put down a 10% deposit. The retailer will then hold your console until December 13th. Walmart is also offering the option to pay in instalments, if you'd prefer not to cough up the cost outright.

We now know that PS4 will hit retailers in North America on November 15th, while Europe will have to wait two more weeks beyond that until the 29th. There's no exact release date for the Xbox One yet, but it'll land some time in November.

Thanks, Polygon.
