The Crew gamescom walkthrough shows Ubisoft's racer in action

Ubisoft has shown a new gameplay walkthrough and a batch of new screenshots for its upcoming next-gen racer The Crew. The game is open world with a wide variety of locales, and the screenshots show how a car can be customised to suit different terrain

The Crew is ambitious in scope. It aims to recreate a sandbox United States that allows you to drive wherever you want, completing races and other challenges as you go. It's going to have stiff competition from the swathe of next-gen racers, but it's looking pretty good so far. Check out the screens below.
