Shadow of the Beast is being rebooted for PS4. Amiga fans take note.
The reveal trailer was shown at Sony’s gamescom event and it showed the lead character hacking his way through enemies with a variety of weapons.He then made shadow clones to him him fight a giant behemoth. It looked out of step with the original game and more like God of War.
Shadow of the Beast was a side-scrolling platformer which was produced by Reflections Interactive and published by Psygnosis in 1989. The original version was released for the Commodore Amiga but the game has been ported to many other systems. In it, players embarked upon an action adventure, seeking to dethrone the evil lord Maletoth.
