2K Drive is the iOS racer from Lucid Games, a studio comprised of former Blur and Project Gotham developers. It's heading to a device near you this Fall.

Publisher 2K Games announced the title today, and Polygon reports that the it will include cars from Dodge, Fiat, Ford, GM, Icon, Local Motors, Mazda, McLaren, Nissan and So-Cal.

Just like Project Gotham, 2K Drive will feature real-world locations set across track racing, drag racing and off-road racing modes. There are also over 20 mini-games to tackle, a "RaceFace" feature which puts players in the driving seat, and multiplayer modes.

From the game's top menu, a news ticker will spool off motoring headlines from sources such as AutoBlog, Car & Driver, Road & Track, Between The White Lines, so it seems as if it really is for the car nuts out there.
