PAX Prime schedule includes Naughty Dog session discussing original The Last of Us ending

The panel and session schedule for PAX Prime is up, and one of the interesting entries is a Naughty Dogs session in which the developer will discuss the original ending it planned for the game.

Naughty Dog creative director Neil Druckmann and game director Bruce Straley will be discussing at PAX how they pitched The Last of Us to the rest of the team and Sony, and how they "convinced a bunch of folks to go off on their own to explore game ideas, build a whole separate team inside a formerly one-team only studio, and develop its first Mature rated title."

The duo will be showing off their original pitch for The Last of Us as well as a look at "how close or far the final game ended up from the original pitch."

Druckmann even released some concept art of the original ending, which may or may not be considered a spoiler by some, so we'll just link you to the tweet and let you decide for yourself whether you wish to look or not. It's too late for us.

The keynote at PAX Prime will be given by former Lionhead man and 22 Cans boss Peter Molyneux.

PAX Prime runs August 30 - September 2 in Seattle, Washington.
