Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate recruits Soul Calibur's Sophitia

Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate now has so many characters it is in danger of collapsing under its own weight and tearing a hole through the bottom of the universe. When will the madness stop, Omega Force?

Gematsu reports the latest character to join the cast of Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate is Sophitia, from the Soul Calibur series.

Although the three games released in the Warriors Orochi series so far have all included crossover characters - that's kind of the point of them - Sophitia is the first character from a non-Tecmo Koei published game to grace the franchise. Soul Calibur is, of course, a Namco Bandai property.

One other new character was detailed - Nezha, a Taoist protection deity. [Update: according to Chaos Spectre, Nezha is a returning character.]

Warriors Orochi 3 is a PlayStation 3 exclusive including all the extra content from the PSP and Wii U re-releases, plus extras. It has not been announced for the west.
