Pac-Man Dash free-to-play, out now on Android, iOS

Pac-Man meets endless runner in this new, free mobile game from Namco Bandai.

Pac-Man Dash is available now on Android and iDevice, at no cost. It boasts more than 70 missions, like defeating a certain nubmer of foes or collecting items.

The runner has simple touch screen controls and a wide variety of characters, locations and enemies, and lots of different power ups. It seems to be supported by in-app purchases.

The app has four save slots so multiple players with access to the device can save their own records, but you can choose to pool your resources to speed progress, too.

The game was apparently inspired by the Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures animated TV series, and if you scan bar codes on licensed toys you can unlock characters and vehicles for use in game.

The show itself will being airing in Australia on September 27 on Channel 11's Toasted TV; check your local TV guides for regional availability. The toys will launch in October.
