Towerfall to escape Ouya exclusivity, in the works for PC

2D multiplayer brawler Towerfall is on the way to PC after a stunning debut on Ouya.

Creator Matt Thorson announced the port at EVO 2013, but the session was not livestreamed or reported by press, so the news went largely under the radar.

"Yes, I am working on TowerFall for PC," Throson confirmed on Twitter.

"But it's going to take a couple months. There's going to be a ton of new content."

Towerfall is a four-player affair which won serious praise when it released on Ouya. The Ouya version is "doing great", Thorson said, but he wants to expand on it.

Currently, Towerfall goes for $15 on Ouya, and Thorson said this is likely to be the case on PC, too - unless the extra content justifies bumping the price to $20.
