Nintendo Zone StreetPass enhancement hitting North America in a few weeks

It has been announced that Nintendo Zone locations will be getting StreetPass enhancements in a few weeks time. Nintendo has also sent a reminder regarding the Fire Emblem Awakening and Shin Megami Tensei 4 promotion.

First off, the Nintendo Zone StreetPass Enhancement will allow 3DS users more opportunities to StreetPass with other players. Visitors to Nintendo Zones will be able to get StreetPass data for all their StreetPass games at once through 29,000 different locations across North America at locations like Best Buy, Simon Malls, Future Shop and at AT&T Wi-Fi Hotspots, which can be found at places like Starbucks, McDonalds, Barnes & Noble and AT&T retail stores, among others.

Nintendo fans can also get a $30 credit to spend on the eShop when you buy and register Fire Emblem Awakening and Shin Megami Tensei 4.

To take advantage of this offer, purchase both games and register them at Club Nintendo. Once you've registered the games and completed the surveys, you’ll receive a code for a $30 credit in your Nintendo eShop account.

Games must be registered by August 31.
