Take On Mars video shows off first look at gameplay

Take On Mars has a gameplay video available for the simulation game series, which puts you in control of a Rover Operator.

The game features a realistic terrain, based on actual satellite data from locations such as Victoria Crater and comes with three game modes: Space Program, Scenarios, and Editor.

In Space Program, players operate from the perspective of a science-driven Space Agency, while Scenarios head straight to Mars for individual missions.

The game also provides players with a 3D scenario editor and supports modding.

Rovers also use of a dynamic destruction system, which means you can break your cameras, robotic arms and wheels

Take On Mars, announced at E3m, will launch for $12.9/€9.99/£8.99 on August 1 as an Early Access title on Steam.
