Tokyo Jungle coming to mobile devices next month - report

Reports suggest Sony has put together a new version of Tokyo Jungle for its PlayStation Mobile platform, meaning the post-apocalyptic furventure will be playable on the go next month.

Drawing on early Famitsu leaks, which are generally reliable, Siliconera reports the new version will release on July 10.

It's not a direct port, being played from a top-down perspective rather than the side-scrolling stealth action of the PlayStation 3 game.

The release has been confirmed for Japan only at this point, and will cost about $3 at launch and $6 thereafter.

PlayStation Mobile is a multi-hardware games publishing platform compatible with Vita and selected Android devices including some HTC smartphones.
