State of Decay multiplayer DLC looking unlikely, “It killed us to cut it”, says dev
State of Decay developer Undead Labs has confirmed it has axed plans to bring multiplayer DLC to its zombie survival title.
Speaking with fans on Twitter, Undead’s Sanya Weathers confirmed that multiplayer has been given the chop. Thanks to OXM for the spot.
@cryohydrates I don't have anything, like, OFFICIAL to announce, but my understanding is that it's looking less likely. Waiting for details.

@haddenhawk There was no promise. We said we wanted to, it killed us to cut it, and we had hopes for the future. Those things are all true.

@haddenhawk But I don't know what the future holds, and it is looking unlikely right now.

@haddenhawk All of us are from multiplayer backgrounds. So yeah, we want to do multiplayer in our games.

@browndood @HaddenHawk Eeeeeeh, that's not really fair. Games are always a partnership and never simple.
