Floating Cloud God Saves the Pilgrims in HD headed to Vita soon

I just woke up and there's a report on a Vita game called Floating Cloud God Saves the Pilgrims in HD in my in tray. Grab a timezone-appropriate beverage and let's figure this out together.

Floating Cloud God Saves the Pilgrims in HD is a remake of the original PS Mini game, which had the same title minus the "in HD" bit. In a post on the PlayStation Blog, developer Dakko Dakko said the new version features much improved visuals as well as Vita-specific controls.

The original game's vector art was came courtesy of Army of Trolls’ Gary Lucken which translated well to Vita; Dakko Dakko just redrew the original sprite sheets at double size.

On the control side, the original scheme is still available, but now you can optionally use the Vita's twin sticks to control shot direction and movement separately, for greater precision and flair.

The new version also contains a number of fixes and several trophies.

Floating Cloud God Saves the Pilgrims in HD is due on the PlayStation Store sometime during northern summer.
