ARAIG virtual reality suit takes the Kickstarter route

A new Kickstarter project called ARAIG (As Real As It Gets) promises to create a bodysuit which will allow gamers to feel in-game effects such as the rumble of tanks, and rain falling on your shoulders.

The suit, which the developer claims is designed to work with "any console or peripheral, any genre or game" features a micrphone and surround speakers.

The campaign which has a funding target of $900,000 is picking up momentum with gamers pledging in $29,000 at the time of writing this post. It still has 26 days to go before the final verdict is passed.

You can visit the official Kickstarter page of the project to know what kind of rewards await you for funding it.

If funded, the first units of the suit is scheduled to ship in December 2014.

Thanks, Polygon.
