Armikrog Kickstarter aims to fund new game from Neverhood creator

Pencil Test Studios has opened a Kickstarter for Armikrog, a new claymation game from the team who brought us The Neverhood.

Created by Doug TenNapel, chief creative behind the 90's adventure as well as Earthworm Jim, Armikrog seems to share The Neverhood's quirky aesthetic. Pencil Test is staffed by most of the team behind The Neverhood, too.

The point-and-clicker has "follows the adventures of a space explorer named Tommynaut and his blind alien, talking dog named Beak-Beak". The pair crash land on a "weird planet" and are locked inside a fortress, the titular Armikrog.

Pencil Test is after $900,000 to finish Armikrog; head over to Kickstarter to check out available reward tiers. The finished game is expected in July on Linux, Mac and PC and will be DRM free.

Thanks, Ausgamers.
