Xbox One hard drives cannot be replaced by users, Microsoft confirms

Xbox One's 500GB hard drive cannot be replaced by users, Microsoft has confirmed. However, if you want additional storage, the console will accept third-party USB 3.0 devices.

Engadget reports that Xbox One hard drives are 'non-user-serviceable', and Microsoft's senior director of product planning Albert Penello added that USB 3.0 devices can be used for everything - including game installations and other storage.
