Ouya to host public booth in a parking lot down the road from E3

Those who aren't attending E3 this year and will be in the LA area, can still get their hands on Ouya as the team is hosting a public event for the console down the road from the Los Angeles Convention Center.

According to a press release sent out to Ouya developers by head of developer relations Kellee Santiago, the team will have everything on hand for developers interested in showing off their Ouya game to the masses.

This includes the console, controllers and TV. The demonstrations will have hourly slots and will run the entire duration of E3, which is being held June 11-13.

Originally slated for release on June 4, the Ouya console will release on June 25, and it will be available for purchase in the Canada, US and the UK through Amazon, Best Buy, GAME, GameStop, and Target, and on OUYA.tv for $99.99. Additional controllers will retail for $49.99.

Thanks, Joystiq.
