The Republia Times scores two Games for Change 2013 nods

The finalists for the 2013 Games for Change awards have been announced, with one title scoring two nominations.

As listed on the festival's website, The Republia Times has players working as the editor of a newspaper, attempting to portray the fictional country of Republia in a positive light. It was the only title to score two nominations, winning a nod for Best Gameplay and Most Significant Impact.

The 2013 Games for Change festival takes place from June 17-19. The Festival's intent it to explore, promote and highlight game design wich brings about positive effect in the world through education, communication or other means.
