Survarium developer Vostok Games has started sending out invites for the game’s alpha testing phase, along with a batch of debut gameplay screens and details on various features. The ex-S.T.A.L.K.E.R. team will be sending out another wave of invites soon.

The alpha announcement was made over at the official Survarium forum, the team spooled off features in the current alpha build.

At the moment the game is only running a team-based PVP mode, and contains two factions – the Scavengers and Black Market. There are 11 weapons, three sets of equipment for each side, and a work-in-progress version of the game’s UI.

Vostok Games expects subsequent features to be heading to the alpha build soon, and they include co-op gameplay and freeplay mode, faction tasks and a reputation system, a perk system, anomalies and close-quarter combat. So there’s much to look forward to, basically.

The team also released to alpha screen-grabs on its Facebook page. I’ve chucked them below for you to check out. Let us know what you think and stay tuned for another Survarium interview on VG247 real soon.
