Xbox Infinity: rumour provides moniker for Durango

Tired of calling it NeXtBox and Xbox 720? The console formerly known as Durango may well rejoice in a new soubriquet: Xbox Infinity.

The name has been kicked around a few times over the past month, including as part of an image showing an infinity symbol logo, but a new report from the International Business Times cites anonymous sources for its confidence in the apellation.

The site's sources also said that development kits have been distributed - which you can probably file under "the sky is blue", as Microsoft will unveil its new machine on May 21, ahead of an expected holiday 2013 launch.

Xbox ... Infinity. I like it. Thoughts?
