Half-life 2 has Oculus Rift support

The opt-in beta version of Half-life 2 already supports your shiny new Oculus Rift headset.

Although there's a mod which already enables Oculus Rift use, this one was developed by Valve, and is available via Steampipe, a new feature added to Source games last week. Instructions on how to access it are available on the Oculus Rift developer forums.

The VR mode is still being tested and has some known issues, so don't expect it to be as smooth as Team Fortress 2's.

Thanks, Polygon.
