Amazon slashes 8GB Wii U console down to £149

Amazon has followed ASDA’s lead and has trimmed the cost of Nintendo’s 8GB Wii U model down to £149 on the nose. Both retailers have now cut the cost of Nintendo’s rig by £100 apiece.

At the time of writing Amazon has priced the 8GB console at £149. You can check out the product page here, while the 32GB premium console remains at £287.64.

We covered ASDA’s Wii U price drop yesterday, and asked if the discount points to difficult, irreversible times for Nintendo’s console.
