Capcom has announced it will be shutting down the Monster Hunter Tri servers for Wii. The closure is in order to shift focus and resources over to Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, which launches in March The Monster Hunter Tri servers will be shut down on April 30.
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate will utilise Nintendo servers for online play, as third-party Monster Hunter Tri hosts are shut down.
