Duke Nukem creator's Ludum Dare entry is The Road

Here's another piece of the spoils from the most recent Ludum Dare challenge, which asks designers to create games in just 48 hours. The Road comes courtesy of George Broussard of Duke Nukem and 3D Realms fame, and is a very minimalist platformer about the various challenges encountered in the course of a human lifetime - like drowning in a swimming pool or facing an alien invasion. It's kind of neat. Don't forget to check out Notch's Drop, not a formal Ludum Dare game but created in the same spirit.
