Monster Hunter -"no plans" for a Vita version, says Capcom

Capcom has once again thrown cold water on the hopes of a Monster Hunter game heading to Vita.

IGN noticed that last week on the Capcom forums, the firm's associate communications specialist Yuri Araujo said the firm has "no plans for a PS Vita Monster Hunter at the moment."

Instead, fans will have to settle for Monster Hunter Freedom Unite on the PS Store.

His comments add weight to those made by Capcom SVP Christian Svensson back in January, when he squelched rumors of Monster Hunter 4 heading to the Sony handheld.

Thanks, Legendaryboss.
