Ratchet & Clank hits the big screen in 2015, Heavenly Sword CG film coming as well

Sony has announced a Ratchet & Clank movie will be released in 2015. A Heavenly Sword film, which is CG-animated, will also be released, but will only be distributed via direct-to-home video.

The film is currently in production and is being handled by Blockade Entertainment - which is also handling the Heavenly Sword film - and Rainmaker Entertainment with Insomniac playing a "hands-on role with the film’s production, screenplay, character development, and animation consulting."

Ratchet & Clank writer, T.J. Fixman, who has written all of the recent Ratchet & Clank games, will pen the script.

More information will be announced soon, so until then, have a look at the teaser below.
