PES: future games to feature AFC Champions League

Konami has struck a deal with the Asian Football Confederation to bring the AFC Champions League into future Pro Evolution Soccer games. The Asian league will appear in a dedicated game mode, with players able to select one of the league's 32 teams and battle it out for the cup. Both the AFC and Konami expressed their glowing admiration for each other and the PES franchise in a press release. The AFC draws on 46 member associations, and is itself one of the six global members of FIFA.
